The Effects of Fear in your Performance

What’s up guys/gals? I had an interesting concept come my way in the past week. Fear and Reason affecting your performance…I think this is very relative in all aspects of your life but has a lot to do with modeling as well. A lot of people do not truly live a fearless life…now of course there are going to be some things that scare you like spiders, dogs, or whatever it may be. Those are not things I am here to talk about today. I mean fears of actually attaining your goals in life commingled with the reasons why you “can’t” do it. If you really are setting out to do something then just do it and see what happens. There is no such thing as failure… only what you learned. Pick yourself up and try again. I saw that in my life in many areas including modeling. I would sometimes pass up castings or not call people back because I didn’t know their true motives or how much they really could help me. After realizing that this was something that was not empowering me to be the best I am at what I do I have been going all out on all cylinders. I feel great and things are opening up like never before. So now it is your turn…try it on and see how great you feel

MODELING- Sex vs Real

About a week and a half ago I was approched by a very big name in the industry over Model Mayhem. I was excited to work with this person and to FINALLY get into an agency and start full time modeling. A few days after out meeting he called me and told me that I would have to let the photographer perform oral sex on me in order to get the photo shoot. I was a bit infuriated but I remained my composure and asked is that the only way I could get a shoot and if so I am not down to do that. He then got mad and told me that I am not ready to do “what it takes” to get ahead in the industry. I laughed and said I guess not.  I know that is not something I need to do in order to make a name or a way for myself. That is the evil and rotten side of modeling. I now have a new mission, not only will I make it to the top, I will also help to keep models on the correct course of life and their career. I have only been doing this for a year and I have learned so much already so if any models read this and need to get some advice or have questions hit me up and if I do not have the answer I have people who can find out for you.

Dhakmai Clothing Event

On April 18th I will be in a Runway show for Dhakmani Clothing at the Hollywood Celebrity Center in Hollywood, California. It is an edgy urban look and also some evening gowns for women. I will be featured in the Bi-Polar men’s t-shirt line among others. Come check it out it’s 20 dollars at the door and also it all goes to charity so it’s all for a good cause.
